Current Openings:Regional Sales ManagerReports to: VP Channel Development Position DescriptionField sales position that identifies develops and manages select customers in a specific region. The incumbent proactively initiates solutions to customers’ immediate and emerging needs. These activities result in sustained profitable growth and accelerated market share. Regional Sales Managers possess the tenacity, resourcefulness and creativity to set the industry standard for customer satisfaction. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Technical competence in security software as related to data, electronic files, complimentary and competing hardware and software applications
- Working knowledge of office software applications and sales automation tools
- Basic understanding of financial statements and how the company and customers make a profit
- Excellent communication skills including, written, verbal and an emphasis on technical presentation skills
- Self-confidence to communicate candidly
- Organization, planning, follow-up and general time management skills with experience managing a sales region, prioritizing opportunities and working from a home office environmet
- Reliable - - always do what they say they’re going to do
- Excellent selling, negotiating and closing skills
- Endless stamina and resilience to successfully transform prospects into customers
- Ability to excel in a team environment
- Ability to travel extensively (50+%)
Education- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
- Excellent track record of exceeding customer expectations and sales objectives
Tasks- Exceed monthly sales objectives
- Consistently identify new business opportunities at existing and potential customers to ensure sustained, profitable growth
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the organizations’ core competencies and differentiated capabilities and apply this knowledge to provide value-added solutions to customers
- Facilitate co-destiny relationships with key decision makers at customers and prospects by leveraging all available resources
- Team with technical support to develop and present industry leading training seminars
- Develop and execute sales plans that are aligned with the organizations’ strategic direction and serve as the foundation of the incumbents goals
- Gather and communicate competitors’ strengths and weaknesses
- Continually enhance selling skills and product, technology, application, company and industry knowledge
- Team with vertical product managers, other key account managers, channel managers, inside sales and customer service to create strategies to accelerate sales growth and market share
- Provide accurate, complete, consistent and timely reports as requested by sales leadership
